Totally Confused: (1998)

There are many gay themed movies out there, some very good. Up until watching ‘Totally Confused’ however, I had never really watched any that came close to my own experience. ‘Totally Confused’ did not mirror my experience exactly, but there were themes and scenes that came pretty damned close. I came out quite late. I was in my mid twenties and had spent many years in a very loving relationship with a very wonderful woman. I am happy to say we are still close today. During this time one of my good friends came out, and that began a journey which I am still on today. My connections with the movie are many and my comments are laced with moments from the movie as well as my own experiences.

I think many gay men are involved in 3 way relationships. When I say 3 way, I am not exactly talking sexual. I am talking about having a good friend, often a women and becoming an important part of her relationship with her boyfriend or husband. Though these relationships can be dangerous, all relationships have risks really, it is more about not losing your own life to be a ‘tag on’ for another. It took me awhile to learn this important lesson.



‘Totally Confused‘ is a simple story really. Wiley and Johnny are best friends, Johnny is in love with Annie, and of course as it usually happens in a triangle, Wiley is in love with Johnny.

Both Johnny and Wiley take journey’s to become honest with themselves over the course of ‘Totally Confused’. Johnny has to come to terms with the fact the music career he feels in on the brink of taking off is not actually going to happen. Wiley’s journey is a bit more difficult to explain. To me it comes down to him finding a life beyond the time he spends with Johnny and Annie. Without them, he usually spends most of his time, when not working, alone. His only company being the extensive porn collection he holds on so closely to.



I identified with both Johnny and Wiley in ‘Totally Confused’ and at different points of my life was both of them. At the core of the movie is their friendship and although it goes through some changes, I really loved how Pritikin and Rosen respected both characters through the changes and made neither of them a victim or a hero. Just guys going through life, sometimes fooling themselves, but ultimately achieving small victories which really is all we can expect in life.




The movie is full of lines and dialogue that spoke to me in one way or another and I am sure are universal and apply to many of you.

“I don’t see why you care so much” Johnny to Wiley about his relationship with Annie.

-I remember being heavily invested in some of the love lives of a couple of close straight friends of mine. It was not that I ever thought (or wanted) a sexual relationship with them, but having a good friend find a partner can be scary for many, it was for me the fear that they might leave you and you would be alone. Sometimes this has you interfering a bit more in their lives than you really should be.

‘What do you know about Fags, you run whenever you see one’ Johnny to Wiley.

-When I was in the closet the scariest thing to me was interacting with another gay man. I stupidly worried anyone who might see me with a gay man would instantly know I was too. So silly in hindsight, but so real at the time. I still know little about ‘gay life’ really, living in a rural area, sometimes I feel I need to take a course.

“I went to a gay bar last night, I just didn’t go in.’ Wiley to Johnny.

When I came out, for some reason I thought I had to go to a gay bar to actually be gay. The problem was my 1 gay friend was off to university and I had no one to go with. This line made me laugh as I remember driving to the one gay bar I knew of in a nearby city and sitting in my car for about 30 minutes before I turned around and went home. I felt like I accomplished something just by going to the location even though I did not go in. I still have no interest really in going to gay bars. Maybe I have never been to the right one. The few times I have gone, I usually end up leaving early. I do plan on hitting Splash the next time I am in New York though...

‘He has hair in his nose’ Wiley to Johnny about why he is not going to go out with a guy on a second date.

My friends (some still do) think any one gay guy should be attracted to the other. and it was hilarious to me some of the guys my friends would fix me up with. Any guy who said he was gay at one time or another I was pushed towards, no matter how incompatible we were.



‘Just because I hate everybody does not make me depressed’ Wiley to Johnny

I just love that line as it applies to me in so many ways and on so many days.

‘The whole human interaction thing is so over rated’ Wiley to Johnny.

I want to thank Pritikin and Rosen for finally writing a story that I could relate so closely to. ‘Totally Confused’ to me says so much and breaks down stereotypes quietly and with humor without having to bash a lesson down the viewers throat. ‘Totally Confused’ introduces the audience to two men, both with immense vulnerabilities wide open for all to see. They try so hard to keep them hidden, an in that hiding they actually expose themselves more than they intended.




All of the actors do a great job, and the leads are all likable, particularly Pritikin. The magic in 'Totally Confused' is in the writing though, with many cultural references you might need to watch twice to catch.

Near the end of the movie we hear a bit of ‘The Rose’ theme playing. I need to say I am sorry to Bette Midler as I always thought this song was too over the top and hated it for that reason. But a song that for so long I loathed, actually has a line that sums up this movie and the lesson I needed to learn in order to be happy. ‘It’s the heart afraid of breaking, that never learns to live’. Sappy of course but after all these years, that song finally has a bit of meaning to me.



I wholeheartedly recommend renting or buying ‘Totally Confused’. I got mine on Amazon. I should tell you all it is not filled with tons of sex and nudity, and the drama is not on the breathtaking grand epic proportion of a ‘Brokeback Mountain’. This is a character piece with real life events. The changes in the characters over the course of the movie are small ones, yet monumental. Much like real life. I loved this movie, but understand it may not be for all. Love to hear thoughts from others who have seen this movie. This movie did not hit me so much for what it is, but more for what it meant to me. For that, I again thank Pritikin and Rosen.

Really Oprah...Really Part 2

Following up on my comments yesterday about Whitney Houston on Oprah, I must add a bit of an amendment. I am not sure what (if anything) was going on in Whitney's head during the second part of the interview, but she seemed to come to life a bit more than in the first installment. I just watched this morning while getting ready for work and there was a certain light and spark which I did not see in part one. Whitney seemed to tire of Oprah feeding her all the answers and spoke more for herself. Still somewhat deluded, I gained a bit of my respect back for her as she seemed to win part two of her tug of war with Oprah about who was in charge of the interview. In part one, I thought Oprah was merely using Whitney as a vehicle to talk about herself. In part two, Whitney took the attention back.

Although I fear Whitney's battles with abuse and Bobby Brown are not as finished as she may like to think, I must admit it was emotional to see her on that stage singing again. No, not the powerhouse we are used to, but at the same time there were nuances to that amazing voice that were still able to shine through. The song contained such manipulative lyrics, yet...even a skeptic like myself was sucked right in. I would have enjoyed the moment more fully if the show had not kept switching to shots of Oprah crying and singing along. Their mutual prayers were a bit much but it was nice to see Whitney shine, something Oprah did not allow her to do in the first part of the interview.

Really Oprah.... Really...

I have stated before that I am not exactly a fan of Oprah. I do admire her and all the good she does, but I also have reservations about her. It might be her inflicting Dr. Phil (whom I loath) on the world, it might be as amazing as she is, she also is a bit delusional.

Never was that more apparent than today with her interview today with Whitney Houston. Now Whitney at one time I loved. But today, these two women talked for an hour (and another hour tomorrow) basically saying nothing. Whitney was far from honest and she never really answered any questions. Watch again, Oprah answered them all for her. Whitney never really had to think of anything as all of Oprah's questions were simply Oprah's opinions. Whitney's only task was to nod and agree.

I DVR'd out of interest, but quickly got bored. Oprah said this is one of her best interviews ever and that she felt a special connection with Whitney. Was it the weed laced with cocaine.... Or... has Oprah just interviewed one person too many.

Good Night Dominick Dunne

I have always found something fascinating about writer Dominick Dunne. I first remember being introduced to Dominick late in his career when I was skipping classes to watch the O.J Trial. Watching Dominick on CNN, and learning more about the reasons behind his passion for the criminal justice system was something that hit me hard emotionally. I went on to read many of his books, my favorites being, A Season in Purgatory and certainly one of his best, The Two Mrs. Grenvilles. There is so much more to write more about Dominick, but today I read a wonderful piece on Dominick on The Huffington Post written by a favorite writer of mine, Brooks Peters. Hunks I don't Get....

This blog has been devoted to some of my favorite things. There are some pretty popular Hunks out there that have always been a mystery to me. I don't dislike them so much as not get the appeal. Here are a few that are a mystery to me. I welcome your comments, especially why you think I am wrong. Check out the poll to the right to share with me the hunks you don't get as well.



Cristiano Ronaldo

Sorry for this first one, I know he is one of the most popular guys in the bloggisphere... But Cristiano Ronaldo does nothing for me. Can I see he is hot...for sure, but I require a bit more in a guy than just a bod. Any guy remotely connected to Paris Hilton also automatically loses points in my bood.



George Clooney:

George Clooney seems the 'straight mans' hunk. It seems straight men feel safe for some reason naming George Clooney as hunk of the century. Women seem to like him too. Not I. I loved George on ER, he did some of his best work on that show, but as far as hunks go, give me Anthony Edwards or Eriq La Salle any day. Also, does anyone but me have no interest in those Ocean movies! I would rather go to the dentist than an Ocean movie. Talented for sure, but George does nothing for me in the hunk department.




Jared Padalecki:

First let me say, like some others, I like Jared Padalecki. As a fan of 'Gilmore Girls' Jared was certainly a cutie. My problem with Jared is that I often find him rather bland. Might be his acting, or might be that in his two biggest roles on 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Supernatural' he has played against for more interesting actors to me. (On GG, I was a big Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) fan who was a far more interesting character. On Supernatural, not sure who could shine standing next to Jensen Ackles! Even when seeing Jared as the lead in the recent 'Friday The 13th' I could not help but feeling Jared was playing 'tough' more than actually being tough. Cute and likable for sure, but beyond that Jared often fades into the background in most of the projects I have seen him in.



Matthew McConaughey:

Killer bod for sure, but with the exception of some early work in drama's I have yet to see a recent Matthew McConaughey movie that I like. He might be fun for a one night stand, but beyond that, MacConaughey does nothing for me. Seems like he would make an amazing friend, funny and full of life, but that is far as it goes for me.



Tom Selleck:

Growing up in the 80's, it seemed like the only hunk that mattered on tv was Tom Selleck. I did not see it. Might have been the stash, might have been the fact I never watched more that 2 minutes of Magnum, but Tom Selleck's appeal was always a mystery to me. Tom, like George Clooney above, might be one of those guys who appeals more to women than men but the closest I got to liking Tom was his stint on 'Friends'.




Patrick Dempsey:
I remember thinking Patrick Dempsey was cute in some of his early movies. I remember thinking Dempsey was talented when I saw him guest on shows like 'Once And Again' and 'The Practice'. I also remember that once Grey's Anatomy started any positive feelings I had went out the window. Maybe it was because I much prefer Justin Chambers (who I think has twice the talent and appeal) or maybe it was seeing Dempsey on talk shows appearing, to me anyway, quite arrogant about his new found 'Hunk' status. There was also something 'off' to me when reading about Patrick and his wife. Don't get the appeal...



Jonas Brothers:
Yes, I am 34, so maybe it is the fact the Jonas Brothers are so young, or maybe it is because I am more of an alternative rock kind of guy, but I for the live of me cannot get the appeal of the Jonas Brothers. I can see however the appeal to a 13 year old girl, and for them, the Jonas Brothers seem to be pretty decent role models. Beyond that though, the hype goes over my head.




Robert Pattinson:

Like many of the guys above, I do like Robert Pattinson. But...I really liked him in 'Harry Potter'. Maybe it was all the build up about 'Twilight' that turned me off a bit (I thought the movie did not come close to living up to it's hype...) or maybe it is because if I had my pick of 'Twilight' vamps it would be Cam Gigandet by a mile! I was on the fence about including Robert as besides 'Twilight' and 'Harry Potter' I have yet to see him in anything, so I reserve the right to remove him from the list in the future.

Prairie Tale by Melissa Gilbert

I always have several books on the go. Usually paperback fiction that I read quickly without having to think too much. I also like the odd celebrity biography, but it depends on the celebrity. I really had little interest in 'Prairie Tale' by Melissa Gilbert, but while visiting friends at their cottage on Saturday I saw it sitting on the table and picked it up.

I was never a huge fan of 'Little House on the Prairie', yeah, like many, I watched it in the early 8o's with my family, but with the exception of Nellie Olsen scenes, it never really held my interest. It might have been because Melissa Gilbert was always an actress that I had mixed feelings about. There was always something annoying about Gilbert to me, but at the same time there was something about her I always respected. I both liked some things about her, and yet at the same time, there were things I disliked. I always though Gilbert would make a great friend, but although I cannot put my finger on it, I always thought if one was her friend, you would be careful not to cross her.

I must compliment a book that I can read in under 3 hrs without being bored for one minute. There was little in the book that Melissa has not talked about in her various talk show appearances, but there was something about her struggles that I did admire. This book more than anything is a love letter. A love letter to Rob Lowe (she obviously has not fully let go), and a love letter to herself. Melissa makes herself the heroine of every tale she tells, even when she does not act very heroic.

Very few people come off looking good in Melissa's eyes. Despite his cheating, Lowe does come off well, as does Patty Duke and Michael Landon (warts and all). With the exception of a couple more people, Gilbert makes snarky and not so subtle digs at almost every celebrity and person in her life she talks about. From her mother to Melissa Sue Anderson to a multitude of other celebrities she has encountered. I wondered about her motivation to slam so many. Some she did not appear to have much interaction with. I cannot say I did not enjoy that aspect of the book, but with the exception of actor Kent McCord, she gives very little background on why some of these people seem to bug her so much.



I did enjoy reading about her relationship with Cyril O'Reilly (see below) and the various other stars she dated. I also wanted a bit more info on sister Sara, who was barely mentioned. I also enjoyed all the sections on her time on Little House. It was the Little House stories I felt should have been a bigger part of this book. I would guess most who purchase the book are buying to find out the scoop behind the scenes of Little House, but it takes up sadly too few pages in the book. I was little disturbed how she wrote about her ex husband Bo Brinkman. Melissa writes about their relationship in a way that almost makes him the bad guy, but after reading the sections on Bo, I sort of liked him. It did not seem like a good guy/bad guy situation, but more about two screwed up people working out their issues in an unhealthy way. I do however think Gilbert should have left much of what she wrote about Brinkman out. They do have a son together, and much of what she wrote are things a child really should not know about one of their parents. Book the Therapist stat!

Did I enjoy the book....despite what I wrote above, Hell yes! It was a good, quick read. Even though Melissa found the need to name drop just to impress the reader, she does have a way of writing that is reader friendly. Again, I wanted more scoops about behind the scenes of some of her movies and tv shows, there was enough to satisfy me overall. I do wonder why some celebrities don't seem to realize that readers buy biography's to find out those behind the scenes stories, not simply just to join them on their cathartic journey to purge their demons and justify their actions.

My favorite part of the book was the ending where Melissa lists the ideas some others gave her for her book title. My favorite was 'Nellie's Not A Bitch, Mary Is' which my gut tells me comes from friend Alison Arngrim. After reading Melissa's story I must say the things I always disliked about her, I disliked more. At the same time however, the things I do like and respect about her, I like more.

Ladies of the Eighties

I was just a baby when Farrah Fawcett was all the rage in the late 70's. I do have her famous poster (above), but I only bought it a few years ago on ebay. I was impacted by her death, more than any of the other celebrity deaths of late. In the 80's I had a string of women plasted over my walls (most of those women are shown below). Many were big in the 80's, many were hold outs from the 70's. I have memories of watching old repeats of Charlie's Angels on Sunday afternoons and it was a treat when I saw a Farrah episode. I tried to watch the show a year or so ago when the DVD's came out, but to be honest I could not get through a full episode (except of course the classic 'Angels In Chains').

Even though I missed the Angels era of Farrah, I was fasinated by her as I grew older. I had a thing with women with long blonde hair (still do). There was something about her I found interesting, not just her look, but the conflict between her being this world wide sex symbol, while at the same appearing shy and reserved. My first experience of watching her was in 'Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story' in 1987. I was quite impressed with her acting and have been in everything I have seen in her in since. It is funny listening to some of my older family members talk about her. Even though they have seen Farrah Fawcett in many projects they cannot seem to see her as anything more than the Charlie's Angels poster girl.

I had followed her story closely the last few years, the drama, the sickness, the sadness. There was something sweet about this woman, maybe the soft voice, maybe the strength you felt behind that soft voice. I hope as the years pass, many will remember her for more than the poster, more than the hair, but for the actress she was.

Farrah is the most famous poster girl, but here are a few of my favorite Ladies of the Eighties (and seventies).

Just Because:

We live in a country where violence is often not only accepted but glorified. Our tv screens nightly are filled with rapes, murders and the easiest part to get on tv these days must be that of a coroner. Our top box office draws are usually action/violence filled and Rambo is a national hero. Yet...a little Janet Jackson nipple gets us all in a tizzy... Scary Shit that is to me...

I hate violence of any kind. I am one of those stupid people who tries to whisk flies and bees out the front door instead of killing them. Sorry Peta, but I swat mosquito's at will. I try to save the rodents my cat brings in (And if I don't my dogs will finish them off....)

That being said....

Violence comes in many forms, physical violence being just one of them.

I cannot think of anything more violent than:

-Yanking a frightened celebrity out of the closet (and anyone who has lived in the closet knows it can be a scary place).

-What is more violent that putting penis drawings around the faces of young teenage Female pop stars...

-Posting private pictures and humiliating a man who has done so much for the gay community, and who earlier this year touched so many lives.

-Posting vagina shots of any female star who is not as careful as she could be getting out of a car. (yeah yeah I know some may seek this attention, but many do not).

-Tearing down any celebrity going through a hard time.

Exploiting, hating, bitching, cutting down and basically terrorizing others with the swipe of a keyboard.

That to me is real violence.

Getting Back On Track: Renée Zellweger

It is an odd thing when an actor rises to superstardom, then takes a downward turn. This downward turn is not just about acting roles, it is also equally about the publics perceptions of them. Last year I wrote about this in connection with Jude Law. Today, focus I on Renée Zellweger.

Let me start by saying that Renée Zellweger is a favorite actress of mine. That is why I am writing about her. Even though some of my comments may seem critical, they are written not to bring her down, but to help her up.



When Renée first hit Hollywood, she had small supporting parts in some great movies like 'Dazed and Confused', 'Empire Records' and 'Reality Bites'. She made enough of an impact to stand out to critics and audiences alike. Renée really hit big with movie goers with her performance in 1996' 'Jerry Maguire'. Her role as Tom Cruise's girlfriend made her a star and in some ways was the time she was most appealing to movie audiences.

Since then Renée has been in some of my favorite movies. I loved the first 'Bridget Jones Diary'. I pull the DVD out every year or two at Christmas or when down and it, and her performance always make me feel just a bit better. She amazed me in 'Chicago', and broke my heart in 'White Oleander'. She also impressed me in a movie she does not get a lot of credit for 'One True Thing'. 'One True Thing' may get dismissed by some as in some ways it was no better than the average movie of the week about cancer. But what made the movie so great to me was not Meryl Streep it was Renée and how she dealt with the complex relationship she had with each of her performances. So real, she sometimes came across as cold, but so real she did not just blow me away with her performance, but I could relate completely to who she was in that family and how being with them, while important was also so painful.

Renée was awarded for her acting abilities for 2003's 'Cold Mountain' A movie I never really loved. To be honest this was not my favorite Renée performances. Maybe the Oscar voters felt after passing her over for Chicago and Bridget she deserved a nod.

Since 'Cold Mountain' however Renée has struggled. She has struggled not just with roles and movie successes, but also with how the public perceives her. In what seems like an instant she went from Hollywood Princess to Hollywood oddity.





The Problems:
Expectations:
After Oscar noms three years in a row you, the public, your Representatives may have been expecting more from you than you could deliver. As state, you won the Oscar for 'Cold Mountain' but this was one of my least favorite performance of yours. I felt it over the top and hammy. If I could choose you would have won the Oscar for Bridget or Chicago.



Your WEIGHT!

I hate those who focus on the appearance or weight of an actress, but Renée, your too skinny! I crushed over you in Jerry Maguire (As a matter of fact, it was your role in Jerry that most straight men point to as when they crushed over you, but not another role since....) You looked great in Bridget, but your body in Chicago was off putting. People commented on seeing your breast bone. It was more than just 'She is skinny', It was actually distracting and a bit shocking.



Your Love Life:
In talk shows and in articles, somehow you come across as a little lost girl looking for a daddy. This is highlighted by who you choose to attend awards shows with. Your brief marriage to Kenny did not help the matter. People don't idolize someone who appears to be needy. Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep, they may all have men, some have had many, but they all come across like they don't need one. Maybe they are as needy as you, or maybe they just know what the public wants in a idol or heroine. Strength. Right now you present as weak. Time to change that!





Getting Back On Track: The Solutions!


Ensure you have appealing Co-stars:

When on screen without an appealing and well known co-star, your movies tend to fizzle. As talented as you are, the public does not yet see you as an actress who can command an entire movie. Your biggest critical hits like Chicago, Bridget Jones and Cold Mountain all had likable co-stars many who were box office hits. Until your back on track you should not be the lead in a feature film as any more disappointments will make it harder to get back on track. Your Bridget Jones co-star Colin Firth is always a good bet! Colin has a HUGE fan base and is a talented actor, but seems to have chosen not to take lead roles, but instead great supporting roles. This has led to his continued success.




Stop Appearing on Talk Shows and The Red Carpet!!!

When people used to talk about Renée Zellweger they would discuss her roles. Lately what has stood out to audiences more are your public appearances. When you first started on the talk show circuit you came across as sweet and unaffected by Hollywood. This was great and won you fans! But....as the years went on, your movie success grew, Oscar noms and your salary grew, your presentation in public never seemed to match these changes. It is a bit freaky! What was once sweet is now a bit frightening and creates the impression you are either on some sort of drug, or extremely fake. Of course this is not the case, but it is how you come across.

The same thing applies to the Red Carpet. Not sure why, but when walking the red carpet you almost appear like a Stepford wife or wax figure. Any realness which the public grows to love in your movies gets wiped away by the oddity of your public presentation. In addition, get a 'real' date for these shows if you do go. Take your mother, take your brother, take a friend. It does not have to be a man. You are either seen completely alone or with some studio executive. Makes you look distant.


Time For Supporting Roles Only:
Yes, you have the talent to be the lead, but until you fix a couple of problems you should stick to supporting roles. Further, your not as effective in dramas. Not yet anyway. Critics in mass pointed out how you were not right for your role in 'Appaloosa'. 'Miss Potter' was a good movie, but the public never bit.

SLOW DOWN!!!

It is difficult when you are nominated for Academy Awards three years in a row. People expect great things! Don't let the pressure get to you. Look for smaller roles, like in 'White Oleander' Let the co-stars, who is directing and what the part is, take greater importance than how big the role is. I can see why 'New In Town' looked like a good idea, but you need to back up and look for roles to showcase what first grabbed the public to begin with.

With three movies to be released in the next year, 'My One and Only', 'My Own Love Song' and 'Case 39', we will see how Renée is seen a year from. My hope is she reduces her public appearances and keeps the focus on her work.

Sex and Politics:

The past week has had me receive my first hate emails.
Cool I guess, we cannot all agree.

I remember struggling awhile ago seperating my love of an entertainer and thier politics. The entertainer was actress Patricia Heaton. Seeing her on talk shows, I really differed with most of her views. I even stopped watching 'Everybody Loves Raymond' for awhile. Then I grew up just a little... 'Raymond' was one of my all time favorite sit-coms and Heaton as Debra was nothing short of amazing. I still don't agree with most of what she says, but that no longer stops me from enjoying her amazing work as an actress.

How sad that many cannot stomach Sean Penn movies (my all time FAVORITE actor) due to his politics. I do not want to be one of those people who shuns real talent and great work because of an actors views.

Now don't get me wrong, I might decided to throw out my DVD's of an actor convicted of some sort of violent crime or who did something pretty horrible, but there is a line.

I thought I was sort of sitting on the fence with the Palin/Letterman issue. I was critical of his joke, and stated I liked her in the past and complimented her hard work, but when push comes to shove I tend to believe she jumped on this issue with glee to scrape her way back into the headlines and onto the front pages. Just my thoughts. I hope my occasional rants on politics or a social issue don't turn people away, but if they do, oh well. Although I am not naive enough to think most click on Favorite Hunks for my views, I do hope however that the blog is just a little more than just pretty people pictures. Just a little...

But...I supported Hillary not Obama, I believe in Universal Health Care, I believe this country does not do enough to help those in need. I think the government is in far too many places they do not belong, but yet know, people are in need of financial aid right now. I want the money to go to adoption services, foster care, edcuation and not to banks and financial companies. I hate cruelty, I HATE P H and any site or person whose goal is bring others down.

But...I will be taking a bit of break from politics, I just felt there were a few public disappointments this week. The vultures decending on a good, decent man, Dustin Lance Black, Letterman, a comedian, getting called a pervert for a bad joke, a beauty queen with a right to her views, getting so much public air time, and even Obama, who I support, letting many down with the gay marriage issue.

I also know I know nothing, I just know what I feel.

Hard to believe Craig Coakley, who streaked at the Mets/Braves game this week might face up to a year in jail for the bet he made with his boss. US laws really need an overhaul! A fine maybe, but come on now there are violent criminals and thiefs getting off with much less.

Ok Blog readers, let me start by saying I am sorry it took so long to post these results! I made the post below many late last year on a new blog I was going to start when my space ran out here. When I decided to remain here, I never went to the new blog to post this info here.

I always like to only post on subjects I like and men I enjoy and respect. I would not bother posting and researching things I do not love. My favorite part of the blog is getting feedback on what posts people are liking. I also enjoy when I feel like writing longer comments on subjects that interest me. I also really love giving actors, models and photographers not always covered by other sites and blogs a bit of attention.
