James Michael Bobby in 'Cowboy Junction'

Caught a movie on the other night, 'Cowboy Junction' (2006) directed by Gregory Christian. Interesting movie about a man who picks up a cowboy on the side of the road and takes him home to stay with he and his wife. Of course, both husband and wife are infatuated with their house guest.

I did not love this flick, but it did hold my interest. James Michael Bobby certainly was a stand out from his first scene standing on the side of the road in his jeans and wife beater. (I HATE the word wife beater for so many reason, but if I said undershirt I would sound like an 80 year old dork. In actuality I am only a dork in his thirties...)

Some of you might know James from his roles in 'Eating Out 2' or 'The L Word'. This was the first time I took notice of James, and I can tell you under Gregory Christian's direction, you spend the first part of this movie thinking those jeans are never coming off, but just hoping that they do. James, along with his co-stars also keep you involved wondering exactly how the three characters are going to end up.

Favorite Linguist of the Day: Hannes Ortner

Back in May, one of my favorite blogs, Beautiful, profiled beautiful Austrian Hannes Ortner. Along with the profile were a series of stunning images by Sandro and Maykson. I have been looking to find out more about Hannes since. What struck me most initially, besides his stunning good looks was that Hannes is not just a model, not just someone seeking the spotlight. What struck me was Hannes is a professional linquist with his own online Linguistics-Consulting business. Somehow this made him even hotter! I found his story fascinating, not to mention a bit familiar. Instead of simply copying the work of Beautiful, please check out their great profile of Hannes HERE:

Favorite Hunks for September 17th

My inspiration for the two favorite hunks profiled today is this picture from Italian Vogue. As I have stated before, I love when favorites collide. This shot of model Stephan Hoffman and dancer Roberto Bolle, both of whom I had on my list to profile, is such a great shot!

Favorite Dancer of the Day: Roberto Bolle

If you read this blog with any regularity, you know I love dancers. Life to me often comes down to balance and rhythm. Dancers overall seem to have these down to a sexy science. One of the worlds most famous dancers currently is Italian dancer Roberto Bolle. Roberto has been dancing since he was 7 and currently a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre and also holds guest artist status with The Royal Ballet and La Scala Theatre Ballet, making regular appearances with both companies.

Although known in Italy, Roberto really grabbed attention worldwide the past 2 years not just for his dance talents but for his work with renowned photographers Bruce Weber, Annie Leibowitz and Milan Vukmirovic. Roberto went after the attention deliberately to help bring attention to the world of dance, usually ignored by most of mainstream media. Roberto may have been more successful than he even intented as the attention he has received has had both a positive and negative impact on Roberto.

Roberto has also been Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF since 1999. In 2006 he visited Sudan, spending time at schools and hospitals. As of June 2007, he had raised over $655,000 for education and health projects in Sudan. Be sure to check out Roberto's official site HERE:

Import of the Day: Dillon Casey

26 year old Canadian actor Dillon Casey certainly had people talking and watching when played Trevor on MVP last year. MVP just needed a few more people to tune in though as it was cancelled after it's first 10 episodes. The show had some promise, and Dillon certainly was the show's break out star with some interesting storylines. It did not hurt that for some reason whenever he has a towel around his waist, somehow it finds it way off. (This theme thankfully has followed him to 'Being Erica'). Though Dillon may look have all the features of 'just a hunk' he is much more than that. Dillon graduated from McGill University with a bachelors degree in science in 2006 and from the University of Toronto with a master degree in economics in 2007. He also has impressive Theatre credits having taken to the stage in 'Guys and Dolls', 'Exit The Body', 'Aladdin', 'Night At The Rainbow Cafe' and more. Dillon has also worked with Second City in Canada. Quite the accomplished resume for someone so young. Recently Dillon grabbed attention again on CBC's 'Being Erica'.
