Pic Series Of The Day: 'Love Is In The Air' by Hans Fahrmeyer

Sunday's with Hans -Part 2-

Hans Fahrmeyer does it again in this series entitled 'Love Is In The Air' featuring models Rowan Pierce and Dylan Henley. I profiled Rowan last month and he continues to fascinate me. Rowan is not only amazingly hot, he also has an intelligence and wit that impress me. You can see that post HERE: Love the emotion and raw lust Hans puts forth with this series of shots. Check out more of Hans work at his official site HERE:

Pic Series of The Day by LUKE PAWLISZYN

A week ago while researching model Gavyn Michaels, I came across some shots of Gavyn by artist Luke Pawliszyn from LUKASZ DESIGN & PHOTOGRAPHY. In checking out Luke's portfolio, I really fell in love with his work. In particular this series 'Hot guy with pumpkin' shot in Tapanga Canyon this past April really jumped out at me. Might be the amazing model, might be that nudity and nature go hand in hand with me, might be that the picture below of the model kneeling in front of the statue would be up there as one of my favorite shots I have seen in awhile. Some might agree, some might think I am crazy, but there is something special about the photo to me. Art is subjective and the shot represents so much to me.

Luke says:
'Photography as an image is the most powerful visual tool'

Certainly this cannot be argued today as advertisers and marketing companies spend millions of dollars a year looking to find the perfect image that will have us fork over our hard earned cash. I wonder however if they have missed the powerful mark that I believe Luke is referring to. The emotional mark. The pictures that don't just turn us on, but bring us up. As someone who spends many hours searching for just the right images to add with my posts I, like many of you have seen thousands of hot guys splattered across the net. I no longer so much look for the hot guy as I do the artist behind the lens. The photographer that can bring out something new I have not seen before. That is why I profile the photographers that I do. That is why I wanted to spotlight Luke. His shots have elements I have not seen brought together the way he has. Originally is very difficult to obtain these days, but for me always appreciated. If it makes any sense, I would call it a 'profressional and creative 'rawness' that really drew me in.

Check out more of Luke's work at his site, Lukasz Design which not only has his photography but a wide variety of servies from Graphic Design to Fine Art. In addition to checking out the 'hunks' I certainly suggest looking at his product and nature series as well.

Above: A favorite Pic of Mine.

Although Not from the same series, two more beautiful shots of the model featured.

Pic Series Of The Day: Leather & Lace by Thomas Synnamon

You all know Thomas Synnamon is a favorite photographer of mine. I have profiled his work many times on the blog. Thomas is known for his fashion and fitness shots, but Thomas also likes to add a little edginess to his work. His latest project, for an upcoming book, Leather and Lace certainly covers all the great E's. Edgy, Erotic, Exhibitionism, and Exciting. Thomas has posted some of the images on his site that I encourage you to check out. Thomas is still looking for more guys with rocking bodies to step into, or out of a bit of leather and lace. I also love that he calls himself 'Short and Sweet'

Mark is back to focusing on his photography after an amazing experience biking 545 miles, from San Francisco to Los Angeles, as part of the 2150 riders in the AIDS LifeCycle.

Mark says:
"I approach each shoot with an eye for creating art... for creating something unique... for making the model shine... for grabbing the attention of the viewer... for creating a bit of mystery or wonder... Each of us is unique, so why create the same image over and over?"

Mark is correct his work is unique. I love how Mark takes some of the most beautiful, physical men and shoots them actually being physical. Utilizing the body, not just as the subject for his shots, but uses it's motion and flexibility to create striking images of strength and beauty. Using the arms, the legs, the entire body as part of a concept, not just as parts to be viewed but parts that help tell what the body is capable of. Be sure to check out more of Mark's work at his official site HERE:

Mark has a series of books I encourage you to check out. 'Greg' is on my wish list! You can check out and purchase some of Mark's books HERE:

Tony and Clint describe their work this way:

"Tony Gibble Photography is about creating images of beauty and having a great time doing it. Photography is about capturing a Moment, creating an Emotion and about making Art. That is what we strive to accomplish with every click of the shutter."

Without a doubt this sums up their work and this series. Be sure to check out their website HERE: for more of their amazing work.

Pic Series Of The Day: 'Morning Set' by Fabien Lemaire

"Fabien Lemaire was born in 1980, in Meaux, France, and started his photography career at the early age of 12 when he discovered the old camera. His passion is take photos day and night of his environment. Step by step he discovered the digital art of photography like a painter discovers his pencils. While searching for his creative identity, he travelled all over Europe and Canada, Middle East and Morocco going back home full of inspiration of urban landscapes melted with humanity and nature.

In recent years, he accomplished many portraits of artists, featured in fashion magazines and advertising campaigns. He collaborates with a reference image bank and produces documentaries for them. Fabien Lemaire is a passionate man with love for his job and his beliefs. His interview revealed a total dimension not only of the artist if not a man that believe in love for women and men and his defence of equal rights for everybody. Fabien is a beauty outside and inside, a person talking with honest, a young talented French artist."

I love Fabien's work, and 'Morning Set' is one of my favorite shoots. Not only can you see the beauty Fabien's work allows you to feel it. When viewing this set, I could feel the morning, the dew, the coolness the stillness that mornings often bring. Check out more of Fabien's work at his site HERE:
