Soap Hunk of The Day: Daniel Goddard

I posted a couple of weeks ago about Thom Bierdz return to 'The Young And The Restless' and his storyline. I tuned in for a few episodes to watch Thom and Trisha Cast but what really drew me in was actor Daniel Goddard. Someone really should have alerted me to this amazing guy! Talented and Hot! I love an Aussie!

Doing my research I found out Daniel's first professional role was in 1988 on the Australian show 'Home and Away'. Goddard then departed for Hollywood, modeling for Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana. He landed the lead role of Dar on the series BeastMaster from 1999 to 2002 and returned to his native country, Australia, to film the series. Goodard took on the role of Cane on 'The Young And The Restless' in 2007. Check out Daniel's official Site HERE:

Kudo's to Thom Bierdz and The Young & The Restless

I have not watched 'The Young & The Restless', or any soap in over a decade, but I will be checking it out this week. Many of you might know actor and artist Thom Bierdz is returning to his role on the show and the storyline seems groundbreaking for daytime. Yes, gay characters on soaps are not new, but this storyline has a hook which is interesting and original. Many stars 'come back from the dead' but this is the first time I remember a character coming back 20 years after his 'death' to finally face his family about being gay. Besides Thom's return, it is an added bonus getting to see the amazing Tricia Cast back in the role as Nina.

Favorite Birthday Boy for today June 23rd Mitch Longley

I am sure there are others who crushed over actor Mitch Longley, especially when I first saw him 'Another World' in the early 90's. Mitch has been on fixture on tv since with appearances on 'Weeds', 'Desperate Housewives', 'Las Vegas' and more. Mitch turns 45 today. Jay Kenneth Johnson Redux!

I have posted a few times on actor Jay Kenneth Johnson before, but even though I don't watch any of the daytime soaps, when sick with a cold a week or so ago I did catch an episode of Days. As my luck would have it, it was an episode where Jay Kenneth Johnson spent the entire episode shirtless in bed. I was reminded of how special this guy is. Beyond hot and super talented, I remember Jay from his days on North Shore, not to mention his guest shots on CSI Miami and his recurring role on Scrubs. Love this talented actor. This guy deserves to be a movie star, he has the talent, not to mention those amazing blue eyes you could stare into for hours.

SoapHunk of the Day: Michael Graziadei

I have not watched a daytime soap in over a decade, but I do know Michael Graziadei is one of the most talented men on Daytime. He is also great looking in a non-soap opera type of way which makes him stand out. Michael also has carved himself a great career which should help when his days on 'The Young And The Restless end'. Michael contines to make movies and appear on nightime tv (Most recently with stints on Criminal Minds and 90210).
