Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Hamish Linklater

'The New Adventures of Old Christine' has been on 4 or 5 years now. Not sure CBS really respects the show as it has been moved around so many times. I was never really drawn to the show, but lately I have been watching 'Big Bang Theory' and 'How I met Your Mother' and through watching these CBS comedies, I have been starting to watch the Julia Louis-Dreyfus comedy. I have quite liked the past few episodes and plan on adding it to my tivo. I have always loved Wanda Sykes and the writing is much better than I had expected.

An added bonus of course is the adorable Hamish Linklater. Hamish plays Christine's brother and thier relationship is both interesting and risky for a prime time comedy. I remember Hamish from American Dreams but Hamish is also an accomplished Theatre actor with many theatre credits on his resume. The writers of 'Old Christine' also seem to enjoy putting his character Matthew in the bathtub, bathrobes and without a shirt as often as they can. Certainly one of many reasons to check out 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' if you have not already!

Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Joe Tracini

He looks a bit what Peter Pan might look like, and ended a run playing Peter at The Beck Theatre this past January, but actor Joe Tracini is more than just Peter. Although he is just 20, this graduate of the Italia Conti Academy of Arts has an impressive theatre resume which includes roles in Richard III, A Chorus Line, Snow White an more. Joe of course may be well known to many for his role as DK on BBC 3's ' Coming of Age'. For some reason DK is always looking for a reason to drop his pants and get checked out by his friends. This comedy only had 7 episodes, but looks to be coming back for more. Not sure if English teens are more obsessed with sex than Americans, or that English television is just braver at showing the truth. My guess would be the latter.

Thanks as always to Casperfan for the video downloads!

Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Doug Repetti

Do you know who Doug Repetti is? I guess if your a New Yorker you might know Doug from his Songwriting, producing music, singing, playing piano, fitness, party promotion for the Saint at Large (saintatlarge.com). Doug is a student of sound engineering/digital audio production and part-time bartender who I saw on a video getting a wax (last video). Something about him had me wanting to learn more. There is little about Doug on the net, but I am sure there is going to be more in the future. On the surface Doug is not the kind of guy I am usually attracted to, but he does something for me! Not sure if it is his humour, talent or that adorable face! All I know is I am hoping to see more.

Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Michael Gonring

Michael Gonring is simply adorable. Some of you might know this Chicago based actor for his role as Monty in the 2006 flick 'Get A Life'. Though flawed, I enjoyed 'Get A Life' but the flick was not warmly embraced by most critics. Michael however was, and most mentioned that he stood out and that the flick might have been better if it concentrated more on Monty's relationship with Jamie.

It was hard to find good pics of Michael, this accomplished theatre actor has so many Theatre credits and reviews, many of which call Michael a stand out, but I could not even find a decent sized head shot. I can tall you that it was cute face of his and his role as Monty that drew me in. The fact that he is a Brewers fan, not to mention a fan of Flight of the Conchords (I am obsessed with them) only made him more attractive. I did find his myspace, though there is not much there, give a look HERE:

Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Kris Marshall

One of my favorite flicks to throw in the DVD player over the holidays is 'Love Actually'. Even though it is a bit over the top with sap, it gets me every time. One of my favorite storylines in the flick involved actor Kris Marshall. Kris was so freakin adorable! Kris has been a fixture on British television for awhile now, maybe most well known for his role in 'My Family'. Last year Kris was involved in a car accident, but was back on stage performing in in 'Fat Pig' three weeks later.

Kris in 'Catwalk Dogs' (2007). Thanks to Casperfan for the caps from 'Catwalk Dogs'.

Favorite Unconvential Hunk of the Day: Peter Oldring

Peter Oldring is a Canadian actor and comedian. This classically trained actor from the National Theatre School of Canada has been on fixture on Canadian television for the last decade. Peter also is skilled at stand up and improv and has been a member of Second City group in Toronto. You may have seen him on 'Blue Collar TV' or in 'Hollywood Wives, the New Generation' as Farrah Fawcett's assistant. Peter also has many motion pictures on his resume including 2002's 'K-19: The Widowmaker'. Certainly I took notice with his role in Y.P.F (see below).
